Cabinet Makeover Benefits

Cabinet refacing or a cabinet makeover can completely change the look and style of your kitchen. Using the Thermofoil doors can be considered "Affordable Luxury". Different styles of doors are available to complement your home, whether you like modern, farmhouse, cottage, traditional, we are confident that we have a door to suite your style.  You have the choice to upgrade your hinges and drawers to new ones with soft close features. Our specialty hinges can be installed so the cabinet frames can no longer be seen and the cabinets take on a frameless, full overlay look.

What is Cabinet Refacing?

Cabinet refacing is a type of kitchen remodel when you keep your existing cabinet boxes, remove the cabinet doors and drawers and then install new cabinet doors, drawer fronts and side panels.

The end result of refacing is jaw dropping. Your kitchen will look and feel brand new.

From our years of experience, we would advise upgrading the hinges with our Blum soft closing hinges.

How long does it take?

Refacing can be done in a short amount of time. If there is no custom work involved, the entire process can be completed in as short of a time as 5 days.

Is it expensive?

A typical cabinet refacing project can cost about 50% less than a standard kitchen remodel. There are less materials involved. Waste is also reduced by keeping your existing cabinet boxes.

Can I have add cabinets?

YES! One of the best parts of refacing cabinets is that you can also add cabinets and move cabinets. A lot of clients have added cabinetry to islands and peninsulas to create additional storage.

This is also a great opportunity to upgrade the function of the kitchen by adding interior cabinet upgrades such as lazy susan pull outs, pull out trash and recycling cabinets and cabinet organizational inserts.

When should I consider Refacing?

If you are considering refacing your cabinets, one of the most important things to consider is the condition of your existing cabinet boxes/frames. They should be in really good condition.

Refacing is also a great option when you are either selling your home or purchasing a home and want a quick refresh.
